New Year, New Thoughts

I know we all say something to ourselves about the new year. "This year I will..., or this year, I won't...." Well, yes, I am doing it too. So, let's do it together. My thoughts are, this year I will fly to California so I can visit my daughters, grandchildren, other family members and friends. This year, I will make more time to socialize with my friends here. This year, I won't be such a workaholic. This year my DVD, You Can Do It Yoga, is going to sell through the charts, and I will be on Oprah.

Of course, most of us start out really great, and then somehow we don't stay on course. This year is going to be different. I started out by traveling with my husband, Jim, to Costa Rica, where we had one little adventure after another. Yes, that's me flying over tree tops at the speed of light. Before Jim and I were married, I traveled through India and Thailand by myself for 5 months. I could have written, "Eat, Pray, Love." For those that don't know me, I had to add that so you know I do throw caution to the wind, and "just do it."

That is why I named this Blog, "You Can Do It." So, let's do it together. This is the key. Remember this. This is it! "If you feel disappointed or sad about where you are in relationship to where you want to be in life or what you want to have, you will never achieve it. If you feel hopeful about where you are in relationship to where you want to be, you've already begun closing the gap. If you feel enthusiastic or excited about where you are in relationship to where you want to be or have - be it any material possession, good health, relationship, etc., - now you are on your way to having it!" Let's Do it. Happy New Year everyone!
